1. Nature of the Service

FinScore India provides a free, browser-based financial health assessment tool designed for educational purposes. It applies publicly available financial planning formulas to user-provided inputs to generate illustrative estimates.

FinScore India does NOT hold:

• A SEBI Investment Adviser (IA) registration under SEBI (IA) Regulations 2013
• An IRDAI insurance broking or advisory licence
• A CA/CMA/CS licence or any tax advisory registration
• Any other regulated financial services licence in India or elsewhere

2. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on FinScore India constitutes investment advice, insurance advice, tax advice, or any other form of regulated financial advice. All outputs — including health scores, retirement projections, tax calculations, insurance recommendations, and action plans — are:

• Illustrative estimates based solely on user-provided inputs
• Subject to assumptions that may not apply to your specific situation
• Not a substitute for personalised advice from qualified professionals
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or current

Past returns shown or referenced are not indicative of future results. Market investments are subject to risk.

3. Accuracy of Calculations

FinScore India uses standard CFP-level financial planning formulas including SWP corpus calculations, HLV method for insurance, FY 2025-26 tax slabs, and EPFO-declared interest rates. While we strive for accuracy, the tool may contain errors. Tax laws, interest rates, and regulations change frequently. Always verify calculations with a qualified CA before filing returns or making financial decisions.

4. User Responsibilities

By using this tool, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
• You will not rely on outputs as the sole basis for financial decisions
• You will consult qualified professionals before acting on any output
• You are 18 years of age or older
• You will use the tool for personal, non-commercial purposes only

5. Limitation of Liability

FinScore India and its operator shall not be liable for any financial loss, damage, or adverse outcome arising from use of this tool or reliance on its outputs. This includes but is not limited to investment losses, insurance claim rejections, tax penalties, or retirement shortfalls.

The tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

FinScore India contains affiliate referral links to third-party financial service providers. We may earn a commission when you click these links and sign up or purchase a product. This commission comes at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our educational content or recommendations. We only link to services we believe are relevant and useful for Indian users.

Affiliate links are disclosed with "Affiliate Disclosure" labels wherever they appear in the tool.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and financial planning frameworks on FinScore India are the property of FinScore India. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

This tool integrates Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Tag Manager for analytics purposes. Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
